ผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานว่า ที่ ร้านสุริยัน จันทรา ต.พระขาว อ.บางบาล จ.พระนครศรีอยุธยา ดร.กฤษณา หาระสาร ประธานกรรมการ บริษัทคีรี ทราเวล จำกัด เปิดเผยว่า ได้จัดงานเลี้ยงฉลองครบรอบ 30 ปี Khiri Travel (คีรี ทราเวล) บริษัทท่องเที่ยวยักษ์ใหญ่ ทั้งเอเชีย และ ยุโรป และ ฉลองครบรอบ 60 ปี Mr Willem Niemei jer ประธานกรรมการผู้ก่อตั้ง บริษัทคีรี ทราเวล จำกัด
Khiri Travel (คีรี ทราเวล) ก่อตั้งขึ้น โดย Mr Willem Niemei jer และ ดร.กฤษณา หาระสาร เมื่อ 30 ปีที่ผ่านมา โดยเริ่มจาก ห้องเล็กๆ มีผู้บริหาร 2ท่าน คือ ดร.กฤษณา หาระสาร และ มิสเตอร์ วิลเล็มนิไมเยอร์ โดยมีน้องชายทั้งสอง คือ ชัยรัตน์ หาระสาร และคุณอัครพงศ์ สำราญพงษ์ เป็นผู้ช่วย ผู้จัดการ ด้วยความแน่วแน่ และความหวังที่จะสร้างบริษัทท่องเที่ยวขึ้นให้ยิ่งใหญ่ให้ได้ บริษัทจึงเติบโตขึ้นมาจากที่มีเพียง สาขาใหญ่เพียงสาขาเดียว แล้วก็ได้เติบใหญ่ขยายกิจการไปมากถึง 18 สาขา ทั่วไทย เอเชีย และ ยุโรป
จนเกิดวิกฤต โควิด-19 ทำให้ ผู้บริหารบริษัทคีรี ทราเวล ได้ตัดสินใจ ปิดสาขาย่อยอื่นๆลงไป ไม่น้อย เพื่อหล่อเลี้ยงองค์กรให้คงอยู่ได้ และ เมื่อฝันร้ายจบลง บริษัทคีรี ทราเวล ก็กลับมาพลิกฟื้นอย่างทรนง ยืนหยัด ยิ่งใหญ่อีกครั้ง ภายใต้ขวัญและกำลังใจ ของผู้ก่อตั้ง และพนักงานทุกคน Mr Willem Niemei jer มิสเตอร์วิลเล็ม และ ดร.กฤษณา หรือ แม่นาย มาดาม น้อง จึงต้องรีบขึ้นมาสร้างกำลังใจเรียกขวัญ กันอย่างทั่วหน้า โดยจัดงานฉลอง 3 วัน ทั้งกิจกรรม และ งานเลี้ยง แจกรางวัล มอบเหรียญ อย่างอลังการ พร้อมคำมั่นสัญญาว่า จะเดินหน้าเต็มพลังฯลฯ
Khiri Travel, a sustainable Asia DMC, recently commemorated its 30th anniversary with a series
of vibrant celebrations. The special events commenced on May 25th, 2023, with the
organization of several parties dedicated to their partners and suppliers. As a token of
appreciation, Khiri Travel presented their guests with Khiri 30 Years bags crafted from recycled
materials, combining a touch of glamour with a meaningful contribution to the local community.
To achieve this, they collaborated with the Duang Prateep Foundation in Bangkok’s
Khlongtoey area. Around 80 children eagerly awaited the opportunity to showcase their artistic
talents at the foundation. Khiri Travel generously donated food and school supplies, which
were gratefully received. The kids, fueled by the delicious doughnuts brought by Khiri Travel,
embarked on a remarkable endeavor, painting one-of-a-kind designs on the gift bags. Each
bag became a unique artwork, turning them into coveted limited-edition souvenirs that
captivated the guests. This initiative served as a wonderful way to infuse creativity into the
celebration while positively impacting the local community.
As part of the 30th Anniversary Celebration, Khiri Travel hosted a panel discussion titled
‘Tourism A Force for Good.’ Esteemed speakers included Willem Niemeijer, the founder of Khiri
Travel; Dee Suvimol, the executive director of the Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office
(MTCO); Chris Stafford, the founder and CEO of the Orient and Occident company; Jens
Thraenhart, the CEO of Barbados Tourism and Ken Scott, the managing director of ScottAsia
Communications, moderated the engaging discussion.
Following the staff celebration in Bangkok on May 26th, Khiri Travel organized a delightful
walking tour from their hotel to Baan Rim Naam, a charming riverside restaurant near the
Chaopraya River. During this event, the company took the opportunity to honor their longest-
serving staffs, drivers, and other employees. The highlight of the evening was an inspiring
speech delivered by their beloved CEO, Willem Niemeijer.
On May 27th, the celebration continued in Ayutthaya, starting with an exciting Tuk Tuk treasure
hunt around the historical city to collect the letters spelling “ANNIVERSARY.” In the evening,
cultural workshops unfolded, with each country represented by Khiri Travel (Thailand, Laos,
Cambodia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Vietnam) showcasing their local cuisine and
beverages, fostering a delightful exchange of traditions and flavors. Additionally, the staff
surprised their CEO with touching birthday videos from colleagues, family, and friends to make
the occasion even more extraordinary. The event culminated in a beautiful poem and song
performed by Willem Niemeijer’s wife, Dr. Kritsana Harasarn, leaving everyone with lasting
memories of a truly unforgettable celebration.
